This morning the sun was warm - even for november . Armed with my builder`s rubble bag I began my clean-up of the Lanner Football field . I had wanted to do something about it for sometime as the ammount of rubbish that has been deposited there has been noticeable .
I dont want to pass judgement on those who drop litter -just clean up the mess!
See for yourself I spent over an hour with bucket and gloves picking up mainly bottles and cans which later i took for recycling .
Its a start anyway . Lets see how the project progressess over the winter as the number of football matches increases bringing visitors to the field .......
